Lilac Sunday Challenge - Week of May 11, 2020

In honor of lilac (and also being Mother's Day)
let's make a tag with lilac in it.
If you don't have that specific flower to use,
just make sure it is purple!!

It is perhaps the most fragrant of all flowers.
It makes a popular and sought after perfume.
Many say its beauty is second only to the rose, and more than a few people see it as better than roses.
So, it is only fitting that people around the world honor this beautiful flower on Lilac Sunday.
Lilac bushes are native to cool mountainous hillside areas, from southern Europe to Asia.
Lilacs were introduced into the United States in the 1750's. Their popularity quickly soared.

Lilac Sunday is celebrated with hugely popular springtime festivals and special events.
Annual Lilac festivals have been held for over a hundred years.

For this week, let's do a western type tag. Could have cowboys, cowgirls,
Indians, anything relating to a western theme.


On May 1st -"Buffalo Bill" Cody's first Wild West Show (1883)
Do you know who Buffalo Bill was?
Born near LeClaire in Scott County, Iowa, in 1846,
Buffalo Bill Cody rode on the Pony Express at the age of 14,
fought in the American Civil War, served as a scout for the Army,
and was already an Old West legend before
mounting his famous Wild West show, which traveled the
United States and Europe.
Besides Buffalo Bill himself, the Wild West show
starred sharpshooter Annie Oakley and, for one run, Chief Sitting Bull.

WINGS TUTORIAL HERE

This is a very nice, animated tutorial.

You only have to do one size tag and if you don't have
the plug-ins, you don't have to do the animation.

This does use DSB Flux to do the animation, but you can
easily use the PSP effect Noise to make the same effect
